CAHOUET S.A.S. is independent French company based in Montreuil (suburbs of Paris), manufacturing the equipment for industrial, medical and special gas/liquid handling under low and high pressure.
With over 80 years of experience and know-how allows CAHOUET to create and fabricate new products, in conformity with the latest international standards (ISO 9001, ISO13485, CE, π) to ensure the high quality production is met, either in large or small scale.
Due to ever demanding requests, Cahouet designs, manufactures and markets quality equipment for all types of compressed gas and liquid and the areas covered, but not limited to, as such in industrial, medical or special, C2H2, NH3, N2O, CnHm, H2, He, and N2/NO are included.
Supply Range and Application
MANIFOLDS
The Cahouet semi automatic switchover manifold secures a highly reliable uninterrupted gas supply. Changeover to reserve bank is fully automatic.Simply reset cylinder/bundle bank priority by manual lever operation after replacement of the empty pack. Perfect outlet pressure stability is guaranteed with our high quality BP line regulator. Manifold fitted with safety relief valve and purge valve.
IMPORTANT: “No down-time maintenance manifold” equipped with check-valves on each bank. Maintenance of one regulator is possible while the second regulator is still working.
Gases
Non corrosive gases including O2 – C2H2 – NH3 – propane, LAR, LIN, LOX…
Inlet Pressure
For non corrosive gases and O2:200 or 300 bar (acc. to manifold) Acetylene: 20 bar
Ammonia: 10 bar
Propane: 8 bar Cryogenic gases : 10 bar
Outlet Pressure
For non corrosive gases and O2: from 0 to 70 bar (acc. to manifold) Acetylene: from 0.2 to 0.9 bar Ammonia: from 0.2 to 1 bar Propane: from 0.5 to 2 bar Cryogenic gases: from 1 to 6.5 bar
LINE/CYLINDER PRESSURE REGULATOR
Single stage & Double stage.
For all non-corrosive gas, oxygen included but acetylene excluded.
This regulator is intended for applications needing a fine and steady regulation with a small flow rate.
Lever and diaphragm regulator Nominal inlet pressure : 7 bar
STANDARD ARRANGEMENT
- Inlet / Outlet : 1/4″ BSP female
- Inlet filter
- 1 LP gauge
MEDIUM PRESSURE REGULATORS
These single stage diaphragm regulators with balanced valve are designed to be fitted on a pipeline system. Thanks to their balanced valve, they do not react to inlet pressure variations and enable high flow rates. These regulators are designed to handle all non-corrosive gases oxygen, acetylene, propane and butane included. The BP 100 is particularly suitable for applications requiring medium flow rates such as pneumatic regulation or feeding of testing areas. The BP 300/500/800 are particularly suitable for industrial applications such as inerting of tanks, feeding of furnaces and burners.
FEATURES
- Weight: BP100: 0,8 kg BP300: 1,1 kg BP500/800: 2,5 kg
- Maximum inlet pressure : 50 bar, 1,5 bar for C2H2
- Maximum flow rate: 200Nm3/h – 800Nm3/h
Ex: for a BP100 when the inlet pressure is 10 bar and the flow varies from 0 to 85 Nm3/h then P2 varies from 5,2 to 4 bar.
– Inlet filter
– 1 LP gauge
– Rear mounting (Option)
HIGH PRESSURE REGULATORS
TYPE:
- Induflow with calibrated holes Inlet pressure: from 2.7 to 6 bar Flow: 0-6 lpm 0-15 lpm 0-40 lpm
- Dynaflow with paddle technology Inlet pressure: from 2.5 to 4 bar Flow: from 50 ccpm to 150 lpm
- Dynabloc with paddle technology Nominal Inlet pressure: 200 bar Flow: from 50 ccpm to 200 lpm
Ball Valve:
The low pressure ball valve are designed to be part of a gas pipeline system including oxygen and vacuum. Fully degreased and lubricated (oxygen compatible lubricant). Available in a large range of dimensions with lockable handles up to DN25 and color caps (optional). To facilitate their installation, our ball valves may be supplied with two specific fittings (option).
The valves meet the essential require- ments of the 97/23 CE Directive.
Heater:
2 models are available: 500 and 1000 Watt. These models are designed for all gas needing a warming-up (CO2, O2, Argon/CO2, N2O*…), corrosive and flammable gas excluded. (*the 1000 W model is not available for N2O)
They are not safety devices according to the Pressure Equipment Directive, but pipeline accessories classified under Article 3.3.This equipment is thus out of the scope of CE marking under the Pressure Equipment Directive: – Fitting on pipeline with ID < 25 mm
– This equipment is delivered without presetting. The electric connection is left to the customer’s initiative.
They are available for all (non corrosive and fuel) gases, oxygen included.
- Gas Producers
- Integrator – Machine manufacturer
- Emergency – Firemen, ambulance
- Homecare – Oxygen therapy
- Gas Pipe System Installers – Industrial, medical, laboratory
